Make Room for More Money

Here are some Feng Shui tips to create more wealth and abundance in your life.

Money doesn't like to be spent on useless things that will be put somewhere and never used. Clutter and mess scare away abundance and wealth.

These 5 tips will help you shift the energy of abundance and wealth into high gear.

1. Go over your house and look in your drawers, boxes and shelves to find 20-30 items you don't use. Look for old items, clothes you don't wear and any other stuff that lies down for months untouched. If you have anything you didn't use for more than a year, good chances you don't need it.
Keep looking until you find at least 20 items, then throw them away or donate them if they are in good shape.

2. Look for broken things. Anything that doesn't work as it should is a sign of something wrong in your life. Get rid of broken items - either fix them or through them away. Old, broken and unused things can clog up your cash flow.

3. While you go over your house, look for loose change and occasional bill. Look in the pockets, handbags and between seats of your car. Put all the money you found into a nice jar - this jar will remind you that you have even more than you realized.

4. Money comes to people treating it with respect. Pay attention to how you handle money every day. Don't keep paper money jammed in your wallet. If you neglect your money, it will neglect you. Start handling your money as though you value it.

5. Money is a form of energy, and it needs to flow through your life, not just into it. Be sure to balance your checkbook regularly and pay your bills on time. Donate to people in need. What you give becomes an investment that will return to you multiplied at some point in the future.

By removing some of your clutter and throwing away crap and unused stuff, you have already begun to create more space for your money. Now the above tips will help you fill this space with abundance and wealth.

5 Personal Development Tips on the Way to Success

After reading hundreds of personal development books, Matt Morris (CEO of Success University) adapted the best of each for his own use. Here are Matt's personal goal-setting tips:

1. Post your goals where you'll see them
"Review them on a weekly, if not daily, basis. That way, all your activity is gear toward accomplishing what you really what in life. Many people set goals and never look at them again. They end up doing things that don't move them forward their goals, because they don't have top-of-mind awareness."

2. Plan your work and work your plan
"On a daily basis, prioritize what's most important. Every evening, make a list of everything you need to do the next day. Then prioritize your list and look at what will get you closest to your goals. When you start your day, complete the most important tasks first to get them out of the way. Don't let little things make you lose focus from priority items that will move you toward your goal. Assign time slots for accomplishing each task, and don't let things like e-mail and other interruptions get in your way."

3. Stay in a peak emotional state
"To create powerful results in your life, you must create a powerful emotional state. When you're tired, lethargic and down, it will be very difficult to create positive results. If you want to be in a leadership role, realize that people want to follow a leader who has energy, motivation and enthusiasm. If you're feeling tired or down, move your body, go to the gym or do whatever you need to get your blood flowing; when you change your physiological state, you change your emotional state."

4. Learn every day
"I block out time every day to learn something that will move me forward in life. Whether it's listening to an audio or video program or reading a book, I've made continual learning a priority in my life every day. The compounded effect over time, even if it's only 10 minutes a day, will create massive results in your life long term. If you read only 10 minutes a day for an entire year, you'll have learned more about improving your life in one year that the average person will learn in their adult life. That slight edge will make all the difference in creating success in your life. Learning is the foundation for all success; it is where true success begins."

5. Dream big!
"A life worth living is a life worth fighting for your dreams. Too many people tiptoe through life quietly so they can arrive at their grave safely. My belief is that at the end of your life, when you finish your journey through this world, you will feel at peace and fulfilled by having pursued your dreams. At the end of ones life, no one ever said they were glad they played it safe. We were all created equal; we all have the ability to achieve greatness. Never let anyone steal your dreams!"

"Far better is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."
- Theodore Roosevelt
